What GMMAC brings to each stakeholder
Professional organisations
Planned Pockets PRO advances would help eligible fighters prepare, while verified Ranking results would support talent identification and matchmaking. Member organisations contribute to the Fund and help define the services, without affiliation bias in the Ranking.
National federations
The project includes free management tools, group insurance negotiations and access to authorised practitioner data. The federation committee would coordinate territorial needs, deployment and professional organisation contributions. Federation responsibilities remain their own.
Clubs & academies
The planned grading framework would document progression and help clubs set training goals. Free management tools and group insurance arrangements would support affiliated clubs, subject to rollout and policy terms.
Professional fighters
The project combines adapted insurance, Pockets PRO and resources for supplementary retirement. The DSP would connect a fighter’s certified history to these services. Each benefit has its own eligibility conditions and remains subject to approved rules.

Grading
A proposed shared certification framework from white belt to 10th Dan, with 178 techniques in 10 blocks. Grades document progression and support social eligibility. Deployment and recognition would develop with participating federations.

Universal Ranking
A proposed cross-organisation Ranking covering amateur and professional fights. Only verified fight results and opponent level determine the Ranking. Public, auditable weightings and integration deadlines remain to be defined by the competent commission.

Digital Sport Passport
The planned DSP connects grades, results and contracts to eligible services. The NFC bracelet is optional. Public scans would show only grade and licence status; medical, financial and contract data require explicit authorisation. Sharing is selective and revocable; individual fighter data is not sold.

MMA Insurance
Three proposed tiers: Essential, Standard and Pro. A separate Solidarity Mechanism addresses documented serious accidents when a member federation lacks required insurance, subject to active DSP, severity threshold and policy limits.

Support Fund
The proposed Fund finances Pockets PRO and builds supplementary retirement resources. Its $500M target by 2040 depends on contributions and investment results. A separate legal structure and asset protections remain to be formalised.

Pockets PRO
Proposed advances on guaranteed appearance purses only, excluding win bonuses. Payment target: 48 business hours after eligibility is met, net of negotiated fees. Active DSP, Black minimum, a member organisation and a validated contract are required.

95% of professional contributions and 50% of GMMAC gross product margins go to the Fund. Insurance premiums are separate.
